The First Quarter, 2002 groundwater monitoring event #
occurred on February 24, 2002. 1
1.0 POTENTIOIVIETRIC SURFACE
Depth to water in each monitoring well was measured to +/- 0.01 feet using a Solinst
Model water Ievel meter between 13:30 and 13:36 on February 24, 2002. The depths to
water were converted to potentiometric surface elevation by subtracting the measured
r depths to water from the casing top elevations derived from the well survey performed in
1995 by Benc mark Consultants.The depth to water, casing top elevations, and
potentiometric surface elevations are presented in Table 1. All available previous.water
level measurements are summarized in Table C1 in Attachment C.
Figure 2 is a map showing the approximate potentiometric surface for the monitoring
wells at the site on February 24, 2002. Table 2 lists the slope(gradient)'and direction{.pf
gradient of the potentiometric surface for each of the triangles°with a well;at each apex.
The site average gradient of the poMtiometric surface was 0.0024 feet per foot The site
average gradient direction was oriented N 17.9°W.
All available previous potentiometric surface sloe
p p p (gradient)and direction of gradient }
information are summarized in Table C2 in Attachment C.
P.O.Box 2165 ■ Livermore,California 94551-2165 ■ (925)373-9211
