A GROUNDWATER CONSULTANCY r Local Oversight Program December 10, 2001 ' San Joaquin County Department of Health Services P O Box 2009 Stockton,CA 95201 RE: Fourth Quarter, 2001 Groundwater Monitoring Report- Underground Storage Case Former Cheaper! #37, 15 Grant Line Road, Tracy, San Joaquin County Dear Local Oversight Program, This Fourth Quarter, 2001 Groundwater Monitoring Report is submitted by H2OGEOL on behalf of The Customer Company for the former Cheaperf Store #37, 15 Grant Line Road in Tracy, San Joaquin County, California The site location is shown on Figure 1 and is now More for Less#37 The Fourth Quarter, 2001 groundwater monitoring event i) occurred on November 17, 2001 10 POTENTIOMETRIC SURFACE Depth to water in each monitoring well was measured to +/- 0 01 feet using a Solinst Model water level meter between 10 50 and 11 00 on November 17, 2001 The depths to water were converted to potentiometric surface elevation by subtracting the measured depths to water from the casing top elevations derived from the well survey performed m 1995 by Benchmark Consultants The depth to water, casing top elevations; and I potentiometric surface elevations are presented in Table 1. All available previous water level measurements are summarized in Table C 1 in Attachment C Figure 2 is a map showing the approximate potentiometric surface for the monitoring wells at the site on November 17, 2001 Table 2 lists the slope (gradient) and direction of gradient of the potentiometric surface for each of the triangles with a well at each apex The average gradient of the potentiometric surface was 0 0119 feet per foot. The average gradient direction was oriented N 22 5'E.
