..r
 r
Mr. john Johnson
September 29, 1992
Page 2
Groundwat measurements were obtained prior to purging and sampling using an
electric w er meter. More than three well volumes of water (10 gallons) were
removed om each well with a well pump. Purge water was placed yin a 55 gallon
steel drum, Water levels after purging showed no significant change prior to
sampling Samples were obtained using a teflon bailer after purging was completed.
The water was placed in three 40 milliliter vials filled so that there was no au (head
space) remaining in the vials. Samples were labeled and placed on ice in a cooler for
transport to a state certified hazardous materials testing laboratory, McCampbell
Analytical of Pacheco, California. Before the next well was sampled, the bailer was
washed in TSP and triple rinsed with tap water. -
AWtgn wt- w
e samples were analyzed for TPH-gasoline, and BTEX using EPA Methods 8015
and 8020, respectively. A copy of the laboratory report and Chain of Custody form
are appended to this report.
Table 2 - Laboratory Analysis Results
Cheaper Store # 37
• 15 East Grantline Road, Tracy, California
Groundwater Samples Collected on September 21,1992
Sample TPH-g Benzene Toluene Ethylbenzene Xylenes
Number
11 MW-1 220 _2.1 ' &3 0.7 , 21
3, MW-3 ND<50 _ 0.7 1.4 ND<0.5 9.2
TPH g and BTEX are in parts per billion, or ug/L.
