The current tenant <br /> also operates a rental truck business on the site. It was <br /> reported to TECC that an automotive fueling and repair station <br /> r formerly occupied the site. It is the understanding of TFCC that <br /> , m <br /> there are no known details regarding previous business activities <br /> on the site. It was reported to TFCC that four underground fuel <br /> storage tanks formerly existed on the site. <br /> On July 18, 1989, TEG.0 performed a reconnaissance of the subject <br /> site. A concreto slab was observed in a parking area and just <br /> north of an existing building on the site. The current tenant of <br /> the site reportedly believes that underground storage tanks <br /> previously existed on the site in the approximate location of a <br /> currently concrete slab (see Plate 2) . He indicated that the <br /> tanks had been removed from the site :in 1971. It is the. <br /> 4 understanding of TECC that there are no known details of the <br /> 84 <br /> tanks, removal, nor as-builts for the tanks and related plumbing. <br /> On December'6, 1989, .TECC .removed a,-.metalautamotive waste.oil. . <br /> MEN <br /> tank-:froiv'thesite'e The capacity of the tank was estimated to be - <br /> approximately -250 gallons. The tank excavation and related soil <br /> sampling activities were performed in accordance with San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District tank removal and sampling guidelines (see <br /> Attachment 1, Tank Closure Data) <br /> The chemical analysis results of the soil samples collected from <br /> the tank excavation indicate detectable levels of- Chromium Lead, <br /> and''Zinc `of 20 :- 18 -rand 46` arts - - -- - -- <br /> r p per mill ion' '(ppm<)-, respectively. <br /> The .sample results also indicate detectable levels of Total <br /> Petroleum: Hydrocarbons as Gasoline and Total ail and Grease of <br /> 390 ppm. .
