Box 0388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Subject: Second Quarter 1995 Monitoring and Sampling Report, Former Steve's Rentals, 275
Grant Line Road, Tracy, California,
Dear Mr. Infurna:
f
This letter report presents the results of the Second Quarter 1995 groundwater monitoring and sampling
at the subject site (Figure 1).
Groundwater monitoring was conducted on June 27, 1995 on wells MW1, MW2, MW3 (Figure 2).
The groundwater elevations across the site decreased an average of .55 feet since the First Quarter 1995
monitoring event (Table 1). Figure 3 depicts the groundwater flow direction and hydraulic gradient on
June 27, 1995. Flow direction at the site was generallyito the northeast at a gradient of approximately
.0035 ft/ft. Monitoring data is included in Attachment 1.
k
On June 27, 1995 after purging at least three casing volumes of groundwater and the stabilization of !
temperature, pH, and electrical conductivity, samples were collected from each well in accordance with
` the site Well Sampling Protocol. Samples were analyzed by Argon Laboratories (FLAP Cert. No.
1873) of Ceres, California for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Method
8020; total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) by EPA Method 8015; total petroleum
hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd) by EPA Modified Method 8015; and Total Recoverable Petroleum
Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 418.1.
Petroleum hydrocarbon analytes were not present above laboratory method detection limits in samples
collected from wells MW1 and MW3 which is consistent with data collected duringprevious
p ,
monitoring events. Low to moderate levels of TPHg and TEX were present in the sample from well
' a
H:\wpSlkgroundze\pesEana.035\6-27-95.rpt
r
,1
