• Oil and Grease were detected in concentrations of 190 parts per
billion (ppb) , 0 . 9 ppb, 1 . 1 ppb, 2 . 8 ppb, and 1 . 0 parts per million
(ppm) , respectively. TPHg, TPHd, BTEX, Total Oil and Grease, and
Purgeable Halocarbons were not detected in wells MW71 and MW-3 -
Laboratory results and Chain-of-Custody are included in this
report.
Several separate water samples were collected from each well for
pH, conductivity, and temperature analysis in the field. A Presto-
Tec DSPH-1 pH/conductivity meter was utilized for the pH and
conductivity analysis; the meter was calibrated at the AES office
the previous day. A graduated mercury thermometer was used for
temperature analysis. Conductivity, pH, temperature, and turbidity
measurements are included in the Ground Water Development
Information Sheet which is included in the attached Appendix.
The non-detect sample results indicate that the subsurface waters
are affected in the area of MW-2 , but do not affect MW-1 and MW-3.
AES recommends further excavation an the vicinity of former product
lines .
If you need additional information, please feel free to contact me.
I can be reached at our office at (408) 928-1550 or at FAX # (408)
254-2588.
• Res ctfully,
d
I.J
M rc Mullan
Staff Geologist
Applied Environmental Solutions
cc : Ms .
