Abandonment procedures will be sch <br /> upon approval of this work plan. d"e-L <br /> cc.� <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> Four two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells remain on and off the site as part of <br /> Subsurface investigation of the fon-ner underground storage tank (UST) area at the site. The location <br /> of the site is illustrated in Figure 1. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) requirements, all wells must be properly abandoned ptAvu <br /> to obtain final site closure. The well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> Each well will be filled with grout; pressure will be applied to each well for approximately one- <br /> minutes to ensure grout penetration into the filter pack. Each well cover box will be removed and <br /> the well will subsequently be over-drilled to a depth of approximately 3 feet at a boring diameter of <br /> two feet.
