CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
No petroleum hydrocarbons were detected during the October sampling However, none of the
' monitoring wells present at the site are down-gradient of the former UST locations In a meeting held
on 4 December 1995, the PHS-EHD stated that a down-gradient monitoring well will have to be
installed off-site Furthermore, additional assessment of remaining hydrocarbon-impacted soil north
' and west of the site will be required
A Work PIan Addendum for the advancement of several soil probings and installation of at least one
M down-gradient monitoring well at the site has been submitted to the PHS-EHD Upon approval of
the Work Plan Addendum, AGE will schedule work at the site The next quarterly ground water
momtonng should also be scheduled for January 1996
' 6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the geologiclhydrogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of available
' data points(i a monitoring wells, soil samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these
data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional recommendations
contained in this report
1
1
