INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Mr William Jordan,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> Quarterly Report for 298 West Grant Line Road, Tracy, California (the site) Activities included <br /> ' ground water monitoring and collection and analysis of ground water samples,which was performed <br /> on 03 June 1998 Destruction of two ground water monitoring wells destruction occurred on 13 July <br /> 1998 Site lustory and findings from previous investigations and previous monitoring events at the <br /> site were summarized in the Quarterly Report dated 15 March 1996 prepared by AGE Figure 1 - <br /> Location Map depicts the site and its surrounding vicinity Figure 2 - Site Plan depicts significant <br /> structures and momtormg well locations on the site <br /> ' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> '• Monitoring and sampling procedures were performed in accordance with guidelines for the <br /> subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites established by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> ' Services -Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) <br /> 1, 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 03 June 1998, the water level in each monitoring well was measured relative to the tops of the <br /> ' well casings using a Solinst water level meter The depths to ground water and relative ground water <br /> elevations are tabulated in Table 1 <br /> ' After recording water level measurements, six monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6 were purged <br /> of standing water using a two-stage submersible pump A minimum of three well volumes of water <br /> were removed from each purged well,ten gallons of water were removed from wells MW-1 through <br /> MW4 and five gallons of water were removed from wells MW-5 and MW-6 An ICM Model 52200 <br /> water analyzer was utilized to monitor temperature,pH and conductivity of purged water at regular <br /> ' purge volumes Stabilization data and field logs are included in Appendix A Purged ground water <br /> was contamenzed in 55-gallon DOT-approved drums and stored on-site <br /> ,i <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
