INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with a request from Mr William Jordan,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc , (AGE) <br /> has prepared this Quarterly Report for the 298 West Grant Line Road, Tracy, California(the site) <br /> ' Field activities included ground water monitoring and collection and analysis of ground water <br /> samples, which was performed on 17 December 1996 Site history and findings from previous <br /> investigations and previous monitoring events at the site were last documented in the Quarterly <br /> ' Report dated 15 March 1996 prepared by AGE <br /> The site and its surrounding vicinity are illustrated in Figure 1 -Location Map Significant structures <br /> ' and monitoring well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 -Site Plan <br /> Monitoring and sampling procedures were performed in accordance with guidelines for investigation <br /> of underground storage tank(UST),sites established by both the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) <br /> ' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> 21 WELL SURVEY <br /> ' A well survey was conducted during this quarter to gather information regarding the location <br /> use of municipal and domestic wells within 2,000 feet of the site The PHS-EHD and he State of <br /> ' California Water Resources Control Board records were reviewed No active,domestic ground water <br /> wells are located within the search range A ground water monitoring well is located approximately <br /> 120 feet northwest of the site, at the City of Tracy - Fire Station This monitoring well has been <br /> ' sampled and analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons with no detectable concentrations of fuel <br /> hydrocarbons present in the ground water samples collected in the first quarter of 1996 <br /> ' 2 2 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> ' On 17 December 1996, the water level in each monitoring well was measured relative to the top of <br /> its casing using a Solinst water level meter The depths to ground water and relative ground water <br /> ' elevations are tabulated in Table I -Relative Ground Water Elevation <br /> After water levels were measured, a two-stage submersible pump was used to purge each well of <br />
