An example <br /> of a Chain of Custody Record (Plate P-6) is included in this Work <br /> Plan. <br /> The borings will be drilled to depths approximately 20 feet below <br /> the uppermost zone of saturation or 5 feet into any saturated <br /> l <br /> i Lntered, <br /> layer (aquitard) encountered. if an aquitard is <br /> the boring will be terminated and backfilled with 5 <br /> of neat cement before installing a ground-water monitoring <br /> All drill cuttings generated during drilling will be left at the <br /> site on plastic sheeting and will be covered with plastic. <br /> Disposal of the soil will remain the responsibility of UNOCAL. <br /> Applied GeoSystems can arrange to have the soil treated (if <br /> necessary) or removed to an appropriate disposal facility with <br /> UNOCAL's authorization. <br /> Applied GeoSystems will contact Underground Services Alert to <br /> delineate public utility lines at the site before we begin <br /> drilling. UNOCAL will have a representative present onsite to <br /> 12 <br />
