The differences in
elevation between the taps of the well casings will be measured
with an automatic level. The depth to water below the top of j
each well casing w:11 be measured with an electronic water-level
indicator. These data will be combined to calculate the relative
elevation of the ground-water surface in each well and the slope
of the potentiometric surface across the site.
Report Prenarati.on
z
A preliminary report su-Lmarizing the soil stratigraphy, field and
.. la:soratory procedures, well construction details, laboratory
results, contaminant distri'mition, ar_d recommendations for
further work necessary for the mitigation of soil and ground-
water contamination will be supplied to UNOCAL Corporation. All
information gathered during the study will be considered
confidential and released only with the authorizaticn of UNOCAL.
16
Pl 1A0 4Ge0SYS,t0/nS
r ,
