HIM
5
Work Plan Evaluation of Soil and Ground Water December 4, 1989
Unocal Station No. 6981, Stockton, California AGS 38032-3W
ra
foot to evaluate the differences in water-level elevations among the monitoring wells. The
elevation differences will be used to construct a groundwater surface map of the site. 'Ilse
groundwater gradient and direction of groundwater flow will be evaluated from this map.
f DATA EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL.WORK
Applied GeoSystems will evaluate the results of the field work, laboratory data, ground-
water gradient, and distribution of hydrocarbon contamination, and discuss the results of
our evaluation with Unocal. We will provide Unocal with recommendations for additional
l F
work, if necessary, to delineate hydrocarbon contamination in the soil and groundwater.
REPORT PREPARATION
After delineation of hydrocarbon contamination of the soil and groundwater, we will
prepare a Problem Assessment Report summarizing the soil stratigraphy, field and
laboratory procedures,well consti-oction details,laboratory results,contaminant distribution.
and recommendations for further work necessary for the mitigation of soil and ground-
water contamination will be supplied to Unocal. The report will comply with the rZS Tonal
`' Board taff Recom enc'at'ons for Initial Ev tlualion and Investition of Underground
L-%Ake _gdxACentral Valley Re ala d e orcin t eme is {R`Z E -.._ -------- -----------------
i
23
' App/led Geosystems
