Unocal Service Station No 6981, Stockton, California Working To Restore Nature <br /> FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> Site Safety Plan <br /> Field work will be performed by RESNA personnel in accordance with a site safety plan <br /> developed by the RESNA Health and Safety Officer This plan describes the basic safety <br /> requirements for the drilling of soil borings and installation of vapor-extraction wells at the <br /> work site The site safety plan is applicable to personnel and subcontractors of RESNA <br /> The RESNA geologist will be the Site Safety Officer onsite Personnel at the site will be <br /> informed of the contents of the site safety plan before work begins A copy of the site safety <br /> plan will be kept at the work site and will be available for reference by appropriate parties <br /> during the work <br /> Soil Borings and Sampling <br /> Before soil borings are drilled and vapor-extraction wells are constructed at the site, vapor- <br /> extraction well permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin Public Health Services <br /> RESNA will contact Underground Service Alert at least 48 hours before drilling to help <br /> locate public utility lines at the site The soil boring locations will be initially hand-augered <br /> to a depth of approximately 5 feet bsg to reduce the risk of damaging underground utilities <br /> or structures A licensed well driller will drill the soil borings and install the wells <br /> Locations of the proposed soil borings are shown on Plate 2 <br /> 38032-14W 6 <br />
