The Report was submitted by PARSONS
on June 19, 2009 on behalf of PG&E. DTSC and PG&E have entered into a Voluntary
Cleanup Agreement (VCA), Docket No. HSA-VCA 07/08-072, for oversight and
reimbursement of activity at the Site.
Site investigation activities were conducted in July and August of 2008 and April 2009 in
accordance with the Remedial Investigation Workplan, dated April 21, 2008 and the
Final Technical Memorandum-Supplemental Site Investigation for the Delineation of
Data Gaps Identified During the Remedial Investigation dated March 6, 2009.
The Report includes the sampling procedures for soil, soil gas, and groundwater. The AOI's have impacts from either former MGP operations or the former
underground gasoline storage tank.
A meeting was held in Berkeley on July 16, 2009 to discuss the findings in the Report.
DTSC made comments on the Report on January 26, 2010 and PARSONS replied to
those comments on February 5, 2010. PARSONS' reply adequately addressed the
DTSC concerns.
The Report adequately characterizes the nature and extent of MGP impacts at the Site
and may now be made Final. A Human Health Risk Assessment (HRA) scoping
meeting should be scheduled to determine the process by which the HRA will be
