Underground fuel tanks
used exclusively for fueling farm machinery that are smaller than 1100 gallons are
presently exempt from SJDEH registration and monitoring requirements regardless of their
current operating status. Farm fuel tanks over 1100 gallons have been granted a grace
period until June 30, 1989, at which time they will become subject to all applicable
regulations, Including registration and monitoring.
