(Krazan), is please to provide Commercial Net Lease Realty Services, <br /> Inc. (CNLRS), this summary letter report regarding the destruction of a single groundwater <br /> monitoring well (MW-1) located at the subject site (Figures 1 and 2). The well was destroyed <br /> on July 12, 2000, in accordance with Krazan's June 12, 2000, "Summary Letter Workplan for <br /> Proposed Destruction of Monitoring Well," addressed to the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD), and a SJCEHD permit for the'destruction <br /> of the well issued on June 27, 2000 (attached). The destruction of well MW-1 was also done in <br /> 4 compliance with a letter, datedJune 9, 2000, f--rom the SJCEHD to CNLRS that states "...MW-1 <br /> must be destroyed under our permit and inspection if it is no longer going to be used.." <br /> Prior to destroying MW-1, the depth to groundwater within the well was measured at <br /> approximately 10 feet below ground surface (figs) and the total depth of the well was measured <br /> at approximately 20 feet bgs. The destruction of MW-1 was conducted under the direct <br /> supervision of Krazan personnel by Spectrum Exploration, Inc., of Stockton, California, and <br /> was witnessed by a representative of the SJCEHD. The well was destroyed by first removing <br /> the above-ground, "stovepipe" wellhead housing and the approximately 22 feet of 2-inch- <br /> 123 Commerce Circle•Sacramento,California 95815•(916)564-2200•FAX(916)564-2222 <br /> With Ten Offices Serving the Western United States <br /> 03400009.rp1 <br />
