OfINICXJ-1fHEI <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report was prepared in response to a request by the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> ' Health Department (County) that information for the investigation of groundwater and soil <br /> conducted at the former underground storage tank site at the City of Tracy Fire Station Number <br /> ' 2 be re-submitted as a new report The County requests that the new report follow the format <br /> described in Appendix B of the Tri-Regional Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and <br /> Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, Request for Closure, dated I March 1994 <br /> ' <br /> Appendix B of the Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Investigations and <br /> Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites describes documentation required for Request for Closure <br /> of sites where contamination was discovered and remediation conducted was successful or <br /> partially successful in achieving cleanup to less than detectable concentrations Information from <br /> investigations conducted at the site reveals that diesel fuel is not present in soil or groundwater <br /> beneath the site and remediation actions are not necessary Therefore, this report presents a <br /> summary of information developed to date and contains a recommendation that the site be <br /> removed from the County's lists of sites suspected of containing contamination Copies of reports <br /> referenced in this summary are attached <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />� r <br /> 1 <br />
