Ms. Kellie Reichenberg s
Reynolds and Brown
November 2, 1987 j
Page 3 j
Prior to sampling, Well YW1 was purged by bailing four
casing volumes of water. The groundwater sample was i
retained in one-pair of 40 milliliter borosilicate vials l
with open-top closures and teflon lined, silicone septa
lids, pre-cleaned by the supplier in accordance with EPA
approved methods. The samples were delivered to an
analytical laboratory certified by the (DHS) . Chemical
analysis included benzene, toluene, xylene, and ethyl ;
benzene, using EPA Method 8020. The attachments contain
the environmental sample collection records, chain of
custody records, and the laboratory results of the
groundwater chemical analyses. The sample analysis was
reported as less than detectable for benzene, toluene, ' I
and xylene.
Based on our analysis of the previous investigations and
of the Aqua Terra Technologies investigation, no further
work is warranted at the Tracy site. The groundwater
shows no evidence of contamination from the former fuel
containing tanks.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to
contact me.
Very truly yours,
AQUA TERRA TECHlOLOGIES, INC.
Y
Ronald M.
