I <br /> August 26, 1987 AGS $7053-1. <br /> Reynolds and Brown, Tracy, California <br /> E <br /> form was initiated by the sampler and accompanied the samples to <br /> the analytical laboratory. A copy of this form is included in <br /> the Appendix of this report. <br /> Ground water was present in the excavation, at a depth of <br /> approximately 12 feet, near the east end of tank T2 and in the <br /> excavations created from - soil sampling. Water was sampled from i <br /> the base of the excavation at the west end of tank T2 . <br /> The sample was collected by lowering a laboratory-cleaned one <br /> k <br /> liter bottle into the water which had entered the sample <br /> excavation. The sampled round water was then slowly transferred <br /> P g Y <br /> from the bailer to two 40 ml and two 1 liter glass sample k <br /> bottles. The bottles were then sealed with teflon lined caps, <br /> labeled and placed in , iced storage. Chain of Custody records . <br /> m <br /> were initiated by the sampler and accompanied the water samples <br /> to the laboratory. A copy of this record is included. in the <br /> E <br /> Appendix of this 'report. _ <br /> The tanks were drained prior to removal and transported by H & H <br /> Ship Service Company to their facility in South San Francisco, <br /> California. The tanks were to - be cut up for scrap metal. The <br /> liquid drained from the tanks would either be recycled or <br /> t <br /> disposed of by H & H. <br /> 4 <br /> k <br /> E <br />
