(Kleenco) is pleased <br /> to provide this Site Characterization Work Plan (work plan) for the subject site. The work plan <br /> summarizes proposed investigation activities necessary to determine the lateral extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon soil contamination discovered during removal of an used oil underground storage <br /> tank (UST). The tank was a 1,000 gallon capacity used oil UST <br /> located adjacent and north of the Tire and Lube Express (TLE) service area. The tank and piping <br /> were constructed of double-walled fiberglass. Kleenco performed the UST removal activities in <br /> accordance with rules and regulations set forth by the County of San Joaquin Health Services <br /> Agency, Department of Environmental Health. Permission from Mr. Steve Sasson, County of San <br /> Joaquin Department of Environmental Health, was given to remove the UST.
