i <br />�4 <br /> A S S O C I A T E S I N C <br /> I Summary Report of <br /> Subsurface Investigation <br /> Riccelli Property <br /> p Y <br /> 3 776 Grant Line Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> ATC Project No. 54.92054.0020 <br /> x <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> ATC Associates Inc. has prepared this letter report, on behalf of Ms. Suzanne Riccelli to <br /> summarize findings of the subsurface investigation performed at the above referenced site <br /> (Figure 1). The purpose of the subsurface investigation was to determine if groundwater had <br /> been impacted. This work was done at the request of San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD). The findings of the subsurface investigative study are summarized in the <br /> following paragraphs. <br /> 1.J <br /> t1 Site Location <br /> The site is located on the north side of West Grant Line Road and west of Interstate 5 in Tracy, <br /> California, as shown on Figure 1. The location is an agricultural, commercial, and residential <br /> area. The site is currently occupied by the Riccelli family. <br /> 1_2 Background <br /> i <br /> One 200-gallon and two 3,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed from the <br /> site on April 20, 1990. Soil samples and groundwater samples collected from beneath the USTs <br /> contained detectable' concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), <br /> benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylenes (BTEX). <br /> 2.0 METHODS AND PROCEDURES <br /> To determine if groundwater had been impacted at the site, a total of three soil borings .were <br /> L' advanced in the vicinities of the former USTs. All field activities were performed in accordance <br /> with ATC's Workplan for Subsurface Investigation at Riccelli Property, 3776 Grant Line Road, <br /> Tracy, California, dated December 20, 2001.
