Weber Street, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Workplan for Subsurface Investigation at Riccelli Property, 3776 West Grant Line <br /> Road, Tracy, California <br /> Dear Ms. Duncan: <br /> ATC Associates Inc. has prepared this workplan, on behalf of Ms. Suzanne Riccelli for the <br /> performance of subsurface investigation activities at the facility located at 3776 West Grant Line <br /> Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1). The purpose of the subsurface investigation is to evaluate <br /> the vertical and horizontal extent of petroleum impacted soil and groundwater, if any, in the <br /> vicinity of the former underground storage tanks (USTs). This work being done at the direction <br /> of San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division. <br /> The scope of work includes planning and scheduling, advancing three soil borings and collecting <br /> soil and groundwater samples, laboratory analysis of selected soil and groundwater samples, and <br /> preparing a summary report. The scope of work is described in detail in the following <br /> paragraphs. <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> rjcsu"f"� <br /> The site is located on the ke�h side of West Grant Line Road and the southeast side of State <br /> Highway 205, as shown on Figure 1. The location is an agricultural, commercial, and residential <br /> area. The Riccelli family currently occupies the site. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> One 2,000-gallon and two 3,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed from <br /> the site on April 20, 1990. Soil samples and a grab groundwater sample collected from beneath <br /> the USTs contained detectable concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylenes (BTEX). <br /> wA256971reportslwkp-doe 1 <br />
