1 ATTACHMENT D: <br /> ' DATA USABILITY SUMMARY <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> ' SAIC Energy,Environment&Infrastructure,LLC (SAIC) evaluated the analytical data for soil <br /> samples collected at the Tracy Pump Station site in Tracy, California. This data usability <br /> summary presents the results of the data review and validation process. SAIC collected <br /> ' environmental samples on behalf of Chevron Environmental Management Company to delineate <br /> the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum-affected soil. The following soil samples were <br /> collected between May 2 and May 4, 2011; and on May 25 and May 26,2011: <br /> ' SB-20-3' SB-29-9.5' SB-31-3' SB-34-8' SB-43-9' <br /> SB-20-6.5' SB-30-3' SB-34-3' SB-35-5' SB-44-3' <br /> ' SB-21-3' SB-24-5' SB-35-3' SB-35-8' SB-45-4' <br /> SB-21-5' SB-24-8' SB-31-5' SB-38-10' SB-45-6' <br /> ' SB-24-3' SB-25-5' SB-31-8' SB-39-9.5' SB-45-9' <br /> SB-25-3' SB-25-8' SB-32-5' SB-40-5' SB-46-5' <br /> ' SB-26-3' SB-26-5' SB-32-9' SB-414' SB-47-3' <br /> SB-28-3' SB-26-8' SB-33-5' SB-41-7' SB-48-5' <br /> ' SB-28-5' SB-30-5' SB-33-9' SB-41-8' SB-49-3' <br /> SB-28-9' SB-30-8' SB-34-5' SB-42-9.5' <br /> Calscience Environmental Laboratories,Inc. (Calscience)performed all the analyses on the <br /> samples. The data were reported in laboratory reports 11-05-0194, 11-05-0319, 11-05-1633, and <br /> 11-05-1798. Calscience is certified by the State of California through the Department of Health <br /> Services to perform environmental analyses. <br /> The samples were analyzed for the following constituents: <br /> ' • Polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)by United States Environmental protection <br /> Agency(EPA)Method SW8270C with selective ion monitoring. <br /> ' • Benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes(BTEX)by EPA Method SW8260B. <br /> The data was evaluated in general conformance to the requirements of project objectives <br /> ' specified in the following documents: <br /> • Quality Assurance and Quality Control: Sample Collection, Handling, and Analysis <br /> Guidelines; ChevronTexaco Historical Pipeline Portfolio Sites, California, April 2007. <br /> • SAIC Technical Procedure TP-DM-300-7,Data Validation. <br /> 0 SAIC Technical Procedure TP-DM-300-14,Evaluation of Field and Analytical Data. <br />
