Potential off-Site Sources <br /> x i <br /> Within 1/4 mile of the site, there are several other <br /> facilities that contain underground gasoline storage tanks. The <br /> following three facilities have had documented unauthorized <br /> , <br /> 1.,3 releases: <br /> a - An old gasoline station directly across Grant Line .Road <br /> rj from the 7-Eleven facility, is now operating as a <br /> rr motorcycle repair shop. Two gasoline tanks and a waste <br /> oil tans were removed, and we understand from Ms. <br /> Laurie Cottula of the San Joaquin Local .Health District <br /> (SJLHD) that at the time of removal free product was <br /> noted on ground water within the excavation. To our <br /> knowledge, no further work has been done at this site. <br /> A Mobil gas station at the corner of Tracy. Boulevard <br /> x and Grant Line Road, approximately 1/4 mile west of the <br /> 7-Eleven facility, recently had an unauthorized p~oauct <br /> t" release. Underground storage tanks at this faciliiy <br /> were replaced in November 1986. Kapreali.an Engineer- <br /> ing, Inc. , installed four monitoring wells at ,this site <br /> and detected 320 parts per million (ppm) of total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) (as gasoline) in the <br /> ground water at a monitoring well nearest the 7-Eleven <br /> facility. There has also been a history of leakage <br /> from above-ground storage tanks at the facility. <br /> According to information supplied by the SJLHD, there <br /> � ! are no clean-up or remediation actions in progress. <br /> a,. ........ .. - -.__ - _... _. - ..._. . <br /> - A PG&E service yard just west of the Mobil gas station,. <br /> y has experienced several underground tank leaks since <br /> 1986. Specific details were not available but accord <br /> ing to SJLHD officials, there are currently seven to <br /> nine monitoring wells in place.
