Surface Conditions <br /> The site is on the western edge of the San Joaquin valley <br /> just east of the Altamont Pass. The general topography of the <br /> i <br /> k area is flat with the overall slope of the land tending towards <br /> the east. <br /> F The 7-Eleven facility consists of a convenience store <br /> gaso- <br /> line station, asphalt-covered <br /> parking and driveway areas, and <br /> landscaped areas along the corners of the property. The site is <br /> � <br /> bounded b�- y paved streets to the east and south and by vacant lots <br /> on the north and west. <br /> B. This clay strata is underlain by a More pervious layer <br /> i i <br /> composed of clayey-silty <br /> 4. p sands and sandy silts and clays; this <br /> a� <br /> layer varies ,in thickness from 2 to approximately 12 feet.
