GROUNDWATER <br /> WDEIE TECHNOLOGY, INC. 1401 Halyard Drive,Suite 140,West Sacramento,CA 95691,(916)3724700 <br /> FAX(916)372-8781 <br /> July 27, 1994 Project No. 02070 5236 <br /> YS <br /> Mr. Bob Vasquez <br /> The Southland Corporation <br /> 3146 Gold Camp Drive, #300 <br /> Rancho Cordova, California <br /> SUBJECT: SECOND QUARTER 1994 MONITORING AND SAMPLING REPORT <br /> SOUTHLAND SITE NO. 20304 <br /> 455 GRANT LINE ROAD <br /> TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> Dear Mr. Vasquez: <br /> This Second Quarter 1994 Monitoring and Sampling Report presents the results of monitoring and <br /> sampling activities performed by Groundwater Technology, Inc. at The Southland Corporation <br /> (Southland) Site No. 20304 located at 455 Grant Line Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1) between <br /> April 1 and June 30, 1994. <br /> The activities during this reporting period included: <br /> ■ Monitoring 10 groundwater monitoring wells and one groundwater extraction well <br /> (Figure 2) to measure the depth to water (DTW) and to check for the presence of <br /> separate-phase hydrocarbons. <br /> X Collecting groundwater samples from five groundwater monitoring wells and <br /> submitting them to a California-certified laboratory for benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline <br /> (TPH-G) analyses using Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methods <br /> 8020/8015. <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING DATA <br /> Groundwater monitoring was performed on June 30, 1994. Prior to monitoring, the well caps were <br /> opened to allow the water in each well to stabilize to atmospheric pressure. The DTW was <br /> measured to the nearest 0.01 foot from the top of the well casing using an ORS Environmental <br /> Equipment INTE=RFACE PROBE Well Monitoring System. <br /> Offices throughout the U.S..Canada and Overseas <br />
