. First Quarter Monitoring and Sampling Report, 1993 April 14, 1993
Southland Site No. 20304, 455 Grant Line Rd., Tracy, CA 3
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The anomalous groundwater elevations in wells MW-9 and MW-10 may be caused by the shallower
screening interval used in these two wells. The anomalous groundwater elevation measured in
well MW-11 may be because of changes in subsurface lithologies and/or manufactured conduits
affecting groundwater elevations. The overall trend of the groundwater gradient is toward the
northeast at 0.003 ft/ft.
Based on the groundwater monitoring and analytical data collected to date, Groundwater
Technology recommends that quarterly monitoring continue during 1993. Permitting and design
for a soil and groundwater remediation system is currently being conducted. An addendum to
Groundwater Technology's Remedial Action Plan Addendum, dated January 14, 1993, will be
submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department by April 30, 1993.
This addendum will present a system designed to remediate soil and groundwater containing
petroleum hydrocarbons.
Please contact Groundwater Technology's Concord office if you have any questions or comments
regarding this project.
• Sincerely,
Groundwater Technology, Inc.
