(Fluor Daniel GTI)at the subject site(Figures 1 and 2,
Attachment 1) on February 25, 1998. Activities conducted during this reporting period are summarized
below.
Depth to water D 4
p { TW)was gauged in 11 groundwater monitoring wells and three
groundwater extraction wells(Figure 2).
' Groundwater samples were collected from five wells:MWA MW-5,MW-8,MW-9,and
MWA 0. and submitted to a certified laboratory for analysis for benzene, toluene,
I. I eth (benzene and xylenes(sTE,total hydrocarbons-as asoiine(TPH-G)
,
and the oxygenates, methyl-tert butyl-ether(MTBE),tert-butanol (TBA),diisopropyl ether
(DIPS),ethyl-tert-butyl ether(ETBE),and tert-amylmethyl ether(TAME).
i €
Groundwater Monitoring Data
Groundwater monitoring was performed on February 25, 1998. Prior to monitoring, the well caps were
opened to allow the water level in each well to stabilize to atmospheric pressure. The DTW was measured
' to the nearest 0.01 foot from the top of the well casing using an ORS Environmental Equipment
INTERFACE PROBE Well Monitoring System.
Se arate- Kase SP hydrocarbons were not detected in an of the monitoring wells. The water table
P P O Y Y g
elevations, calculated from the February 25, 1998 monitoring data, were used to prepare a potentiometric
surface map(Figure 2). The groundwater flow is generally toward the north-northeast at a hydraulic
radient'of 0.002 to 0.004 fttft. Groundwater monitoring results from the February 25 1998 monitoring and
g g rY 9
sampling event are presented in Table 1,and historical results are summarized in Table 1A(Attachment 2).
Field data sheets are included in Attachment 3. j
757 Arnold Drive,Suite D / Martinez, CA 94553 USA (510) 370-3990 FAX (510) 370-3991
