i►urlt. !1��1 <br /> FLUOR bA11 IIEL;'G1r1� L HEALTh <br /> ,),ER ICF <br /> AM 15: 55 <br /> July 30, 1996 <br /> Mr Bob DeNinno <br /> The Southland Corporation <br /> 19033 West Valley Hwy , D-104 <br /> Kent,WA 98032 <br /> Subject: Second Quarter 1996 Monitoring and Sampling Report <br /> Southland Site No 20304 <br /> 455 Grant Lane Road <br /> Tracy,California <br /> Fluor Daniel GTI Project 02070 0231 <br /> Dear Mr DeNinno <br /> This Second Quarter 1996 Monitoring and Sampling Report presents the results of monitoring and <br /> sampling activities performed by Fluor Daniel GTI, Inc (Fluor Daniel GTI) at The Southland Corporation <br /> (Southland) Store No 20304 located at 455 Grant Line Road in Tracy, California (Figures 1 and 2, <br /> Attachment 1) on June 19, 1996 Activities conducted during this reporting period are summanzed below <br /> ■ Depth to water(DTW)was gauged in 11 groundwater monrtonng wells and one <br /> groundwater extraction well (Figure 2,Attachment 1) <br /> ■ Groundwater samples were collected from wells MW-1 through MW-6, MW-8, MW-9, <br /> MWA 0, MWA 1, and MWA 5 and submitted to a certified laboratory for analysis for <br /> benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes(BTEX), methyl4ert-butyl-ether(MTBE), and <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (TPH-G) <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Data <br /> Groundwater monitoring was performed on June 19, 1996 Pnor to monitoring,the well caps of each well <br /> were opened to allow the water level in each well to stabilize to atmospheric pressure The DTW was <br /> measured to the nearest 0 01 toot from the top of the well casing using an ORS Environmental Equipment <br /> INTERFACE PROBE Well Monitoring System <br /> Separate-phase hydrocarbons were not detected in any of the monitoring wells The water table elevations, <br /> calculated from the June 19, 1996 monitonng data,were used to prepare a potentometnc surface map <br /> (Figure 2) The groundwater flow is generally toward the north at a hydraulic gradient ranging from 0 005 to <br /> 0 01 ftJft.
