i <br /> r � <br /> L-�❑0 GROUNDWATER <br /> ,r <br /> ❑ TECHNOLOGY, INC. 1401 Halyard Drive,Suite 140,West Sacramento,CA 95691,(916)372-4700 <br /> FAX(916)372-8791 <br /> October 10, 1995 <br /> Mr Bob Vasquez <br /> The Southland Corporation <br /> 3146 Gold Camp Drive,#300 S <br /> Rancho Cordova, California 95670 <br /> Subject Third Quarter 1995 Monitoring and Sampling Report <br /> Southland Site No 20304 <br /> 455 Grant tine Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> GTI Project 02070 0105 <br /> Dear Mr Vasquez <br /> This Third Quarter 1995 Monitoring and Sampling Report presents the results of mondonng and <br /> sampling activities performed by Groundwater Technology, Inc at The Southland Corporation <br /> (Southland)Store No 20304 located at 455 Grant Line Road in Tracy,California (Figures 1 and 2, <br /> Attachment 1)for the period July 1 through September 30, 1995 A summary of activities conducted <br /> during this reporting period is provided below <br /> Depth to water(DTW)was gauged in 11 groundwater monitoring wells and one <br /> groundwater extraction well (Figure 2,Attachment 1) <br /> ■ Groundwater samples were collected from 5 monitoring wells and one extraction well <br /> The samples were submitted to a California-certified laboratory and analyzed for <br /> benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes(BTEX), and total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (fPH-G) <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Data <br /> Groundwatepr mdndonng was performed on-September 19, 1995 Pnor to monitoring,the well caps of <br /> each well were opened'to allow the water level in each well to stabilize to atmospheric pressure The <br /> DTW was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top of the well casing using an ORS <br /> Environmental Equipment INTERFACE PROBE Well Monitoring System <br /> Separate-phase hydrocarbons were not detected in any of the monitoring wells The water table <br /> elevations, calculated from the September 19, 1995 monitoring data,were used to prepare a <br /> potentiometric surface map (Figure 2,Attachment 1) The groundwater flow is toward the northeast at <br /> a hydraulic gradient ranging from 0 004 to 0 008 ft/ft The historical and current water level <br /> OID50395 RPT(STHL-5) <br /> Offices throughout the Lr 5 Canada and Overseas <br />
