Operations and Maintenance Plan <br /> Neighborhood C,Great Valley Parkway <br /> Mountain House,San Joaquin County,CA <br /> Page 9-3 <br /> Off-site waste soil disposal will likely begin by first obtaining waste acceptance approval, and then <br /> transporting impacted soil under special waste manifest to Altamont Landfill located approximately six <br /> miles west of the Site. <br /> 9.5 SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS/QAPP <br /> Any required media sampling (air or soil) will be performed in accordance with the Quality Assurance <br /> Project Plan originally included with the DTSC-approved RAW(Appendix D). <br /> 9.6 HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> For impacted soil disturbance activities, the Site Specific Health and Safety Plan (HASP) included in the <br /> DTSC-approved RAW or an equivalent document should be adhered to (Appendix C). An addendum to <br /> the included HASP may be required depending on specifics of individual intrusive projects. <br /> 9.7 REPORTING REQUIREMENTS <br /> For any intrusive activities, a Soil Management Report will be completed and submitted to DTSC for <br /> review and approval within 30 calendar days of completion of the excavation activities including: testing, <br /> re-use of soil on-Site, waste classification, transportation, and disposal. The soil management report will <br /> include a description of the excavation activities and the following: deviations or variances from the <br /> Work Plan, HASP, or other plans; sampling results; re-use or disposition of waste soil; photos; field <br /> notes; waste soil manifests and weight tickets; and analytical data. This SMP and O&M Plan should be <br /> considered a living document and updated when conditions change in consultation with DTSC. <br />
