The service center is located at 502
East Grant Line Road in Tracy, California Field work for this portion of the investigation
was performed on May 19, 1995 The purpose of the sampling program is to continue the
evaluation of the groundwater quality near the site of a former underground gasoline tank
SUMMARY
Static groundwater levels measured in monitoring wells OW-1 through OW-6 ranged from
7.58 to 8.32 feet below the tops of the well casings (Table 1) On May 19, 1995 the direction
of the shallow groundwater flow in the vicinity of the former tank location was north-
northeasterly, with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 004 ft/ft (Figure 1).
Duplicate groundwater samples were collected from well OW-2 and submitted to Sequoia
Analytical (ELAP #1210) located in Redwood City, California for analysis of total petroleum
hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) All
analytes were reported as below respective laboratory method detection limits of 50 ug/L
(TPHg) and 0.50 ug/L (BTEX) A field blank was also submitted for analysis
1599061QRTFRLYUQR-1995 doc 1
