CanouteEnvirionmental <br /> i <br /> Canonie Environmental Services Corp <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon California 95320 <br /> Phone 209 838 3507 <br /> Phone 800 926 0806 <br /> Fax 209 838 3509 <br /> PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY'S <br /> TRACY SERVICE CENTER <br /> FIRST QUARTER 1995 <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> AND SAMPLING REPORT <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents the results of the first quarter 1995 groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> conducted in the vicinity of the former underground fuel storage tank at Pacific Gas and <br /> • Electric Company's (PG&E's) Tracy Service Center The service center is located at 502 East <br /> Grant Line Road in Tracy, California Field work for this portion of the investigation was <br /> performed on February 14, 1995 The purpose of the sampling program is to continue the <br /> evaluation of the groundwater quality near the site of a former underground gasoline tank <br /> SUNS IARY <br /> Static groundwater levels measured in monitoring wells OW-1 through OW-6 ranged from <br /> 7 05 to 7 78 feet below the tops of the well casings (Table 1) On February 14, 1995 the <br /> direction of the shallow groundwater flow in the vicinity of the former tank location was <br /> north-northeasterly, with a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 004 ft/ft (Figure 1) <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from well OW-2 and submitted to Sequoia Analytical <br /> (FLAP #1210) located in Redwood City, California for analysis of total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) All <br /> analytes for the sample collected from wells OW-2 were reported as below respective <br /> laboratory method detection limits of 50 ug/L (TPHg) and 0 50 ug/L (BTEX). A blind <br /> duplicate sample of well OW-2 (labeled OW-7) was collected and submitted for analysis The <br /> laboratory results of the blind duplicate sample were reported as constant with the original <br /> 1599061QRTERLY\1QR-1995 doe 1 <br />
