The relining of tanks <br /> . Is prohibited by CCR title 23 Section,2661 (c). <br /> The lateral and vertical extent of soil and groundwater contamination found at this site <br /> must be defined. Remedial alternatives must be evaluated and the most cost effective i <br /> alternative implemented- it has been demonstrated that excavadon/removal of i <br /> contaminated soil is an effective remedial alternative in this area of Tracy. Our agency <br /> s-, recommends that contaminated soil be excavated, immediately after the existing <br /> I underground storage tanks (US-17s) have been removed, as an Interim remedial action. <br /> A plan for this work must be submitted to our agency.
