CAM BRIA
SOIL ANALYTICAL RESULTS
TPHg was detected in soil samples D-4-5.0 and D-4-8.0 at concentrations of 340 and 1.9 parts per
million (ppm), respectively. Benzene was detected in soil samples D4-5.0 and D4-8.0 at
concentrations of 0.61 and 0.011 parts per million (ppm), respectively. TPHd was detected in soil
samples D-9-5.0 and D-10=5.0 at concentrations of 11 and 33 ppm, respectively. MTBE was
detected in soil samples D-1-5.0, D-4-5.0, D-4=8.0, D-7-5.0, D-8-5.0, and D-10-5A at
concentrations ranging from 0.018 to 0.44 ppm. TBA was detected in soil samples D-1-5.0,
D-3-5.5, D-7-5.0, D-9-5.0, and D-10-5.0 at concentrations ranging from 0.011 to 0.020 ppm. No
other fuel oxygenates, 1,2-DCA, or EDB were detected in soil samples collected from beneath the
dispensers.
The soil analytical results are presented in Table 1, and TPHd, TPHg, benzene, MTBE, and TBA
concentrations are shown on Figure 2. -The certified analytical reports are presented in
Appendix A.
CONCLUSIONS
TPHg and benzene were detected in soil samples (D4-5.0 and D4-8.0) collected beneath one
dispenser island in the east-central area of the site. Concentrations of both constituents decreased
with depth. TPHd was detected in soil samples collected beneath the two diesel dispensers at a
maximum concentration of 33 ppm at a depth of approximately 5 fbg. MTBE was detected in
soil samples collected beneath four of the nine dispensers islands at concentrations ranging from
0.0.18 to 0.44 ppm. TBA was detected in soil samples collected beneath four of the nine
dispenser islands at concentrations ranging from 0.011 to 0.020 ppm. No other fuel oxygenates,
1,2-DCA, or EDB were detected in soil samples collected beneath the dispensers.
E
E
