Soil and groundwater samples will be collected. <br /> 2) Install 3 shallow monitoring wells MW-5,�V-6,MW-7. Well screen will be constructed <br /> between 5 feet above first-encountered groundwater and 10 feet below. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: I <br /> 1) Selection of samples for analyses must included Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD) comments and agreement. If no sampleswere selected by the Field consultant, l <br /> EHD reserves the right to direct samples be submitted for analyses. <br /> 2) EHD recommends analyzing soil samples of CPT boring from the vadose zone, the <br /> capillary fringe, the bottom sample,and/or at least one sample from each significantly s <br /> different lithological layer. <br /> 3) Control must be exercised to protect integrity of the CPT samples during collection. <br /> EHD recommends obtaining samples from separate CPT borings immediately nett to <br /> the CPT boring for geological profiling to avoid potential cross-contamination.
