2420 Grant Line Road
Page 2
1
On January 11, 1994, the monitoring wells were surveyed, measured and sampled by
AST. The groundwater gradient direction was estimated to be north/northeast; however,
the gradient was not reported. The laboratory analysis of samples collected from MW1
and MW2 evidenced groundwater contamination.
Based on available information, additional soil and groundwater investigation will be
necessary to define the extent of contamination. The results of the groundwater samples
collected on April 13, 1994 for analysis should be reported within a quarterly report due
May 31, 1994. A work plan for additional investigation should also be included within
the quarterly report. Please be informed that quarterly monitoring is recognized as a
minimum reporting requirement.
If you have any questions, please contact Mary Meays .at (209)'468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Mary Meays, Senior RENS D1ne M.
