(Blaine Tech), to describe the results of groundwater
monitoring which was performed at the subject site on August 16, 1994.
All three site-related monitoring wells were gauged and sampled by Blaine Tech. Groundwater
samples were analyzed for the presence of TPHGas and BTEX constituents. There were no
dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons detected above the applicable reporting limits at any of the
wells.
A review of all soil analytical results obtained at the subject site indicate that residual levels of
hydrocarbons are well below the LUFr recommended cleanup levels. Considering this, Chevron
feels the most appropriate action at the subject site would be to continue groundwater monitoring
for at least one year. If groundwater conditions remain unchanged after one complete year of
monitoring,Chevron would then request case closure.
If you have any questions or comments, you may contact me at(510) 842-8695. 1J
Sincerely,
zi W /
Brett L.
