5431 Grant Line Road, Banta, California August 2, 1994 <br /> Chevron USA Products Company Page 1 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report is submitted by Groundwater Technology, Inc to summarize the methods and results of <br /> additional environmental assessment work conducted at the former Signal Oil service station #221-5 <br /> located at 5431 Grant Line Road in Banta, California (Figures 1 and 2) Two soil borings were drilled <br /> and sampled to define the extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil In the vicinity of the former underground <br /> storage tanks (USTs) The two borings were drilled to accommodate installation of groundwater <br /> monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-3 (Figure 2) This report summarizes the results of the drilling, sod <br /> sampling, well construction and well development completed June 21, 1994 The results of groundwater <br /> monitoring and sampling will be summarized in a later report The work completed at the site was <br /> conducted in accordance with Groundwater Technology's Work Plan for Soil and Groundwater <br /> Assessment, dated June 6, 1994 which was accepted by the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS-EHD) <br /> ❑❑0 GROUNDWATER <br /> 0014EAR RPT(Chv-4kGRANTUN) ❑❑❑ TECHNOLOGY <br />
