r�ss�w <br /> Working To Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 REM C"i <br /> D <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 FEB 0 2 1993February 1, 1993 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ry <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> 4 RE First Quarter 1993 Monitoring Report for J B Terminal 6700 <br /> Grantline Road, Tracy, California <br /> Dear Harlin <br /> On January 7, 1993, groundwater monitoring was conducted at the above referenced site on <br /> wells MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4 and MW5 (Figure 1) During monitoring depths to water <br /> were measured, the wells were purged and samples were collected pursuant to RESNA's Quality <br /> Assurance/Quality Control Plan Well purge logs and monitoring data are included in <br /> Attachment 1 <br /> Groundwater elevations have dropped an average of 2 It feet in the wells since the October <br /> 1992 monitoring Groundwater monitoring data is summarized in Table 1 The gradient was <br /> calculated to be in a northeasterly direction at 0 005 ft/ft, which is consistent with previous <br /> gradients (Figure 2, Groundwater Gradient Map) <br /> Samples collected were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), and <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) utilizing EPA method 503018020/8015 <br /> Dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in monitoring well MW 1 in the following <br /> concentrations 340 µg/f TPHG, 13 µgl f ethylbenzene, and 0 7 µgl f xylenes No petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon constituents were present above method detection limits in monitoring wells MW2, <br /> MW3, MW4 or MW5 Analytical data is presented in Table 2 The laboratory data sheets and <br /> chain-of-custody documentation are included in Attachment 2 Laboratory analyses were <br /> conducted by RESNA Environmental Laboratories, Cal EPA, ELAP Certification No 1211 <br /> QR0I2193 FNL <br />
