r�ss�w Working To Restore Nature 1710 Main Street Escalon, CA 95320 REM C"i D Phone (209) 838-3507 FEB 0 2 1993February 1, 1993 FAX (209) 838-3509 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ry PERMIT/SERVICES Mr Harlin Knoll San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division P O Box 2009 Stockton, CA 95201 4 RE First Quarter 1993 Monitoring Report for J B Terminal 6700 Grantline Road, Tracy, California Dear Harlin On January 7, 1993, groundwater monitoring was conducted at the above referenced site on wells MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4 and MW5 (Figure 1) During monitoring depths to water were measured, the wells were purged and samples were collected pursuant to RESNA's Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan Well purge logs and monitoring data are included in Attachment 1 Groundwater elevations have dropped an average of 2 It feet in the wells since the October 1992 monitoring Groundwater monitoring data is summarized in Table 1 The gradient was calculated to be in a northeasterly direction at 0 005 ft/ft, which is consistent with previous gradients (Figure 2, Groundwater Gradient Map) Samples collected were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) utilizing EPA method 503018020/8015 Dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in monitoring well MW 1 in the following concentrations 340 µg/f TPHG, 13 µgl f ethylbenzene, and 0 7 µgl f xylenes No petroleum hydrocarbon constituents were present above method detection limits in monitoring wells MW2, MW3, MW4 or MW5 Analytical data is presented in Table 2 The laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody documentation are included in Attachment 2 Laboratory analyses were conducted by RESNA Environmental Laboratories, Cal EPA, ELAP Certification No 1211 QR0I2193 FNL
