Working To Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 November 9, 1992 <br /> NOY <br /> kIS <br /> 1ENVIRONME ry i-,t_ e .E�rfi fi <br /> Mr Steve Schneider PMI � R1lI�I <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE Fourth Quarter 1992 Monitoring Report for J B Terminal 6700 <br /> Grantl>ne Road, Tracy, California <br /> Dear Steve <br /> On October 15, 1992, groundwater monitoring was conducted at the above referenced site on <br /> wells MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4 and MW5 (Figure 1) Dunng monitoring, the depths to water <br /> were measured, the wells were purged and samples were collected pursuant to RESNA's Quality <br /> Assurance/Quality Control Plan Well purge logs and monitoring data are included in <br /> Attachment 1 <br /> Groundwater elevations have dropped an average of 3 45 feet in the wells since the July 1992 <br /> monitoring Groundwater monitonng data is summarized in Table I The gradient was <br /> calculated to be in a north-northeast direction at 0 004 ft/ft, which is consistent with previous <br /> gradients (Figure 2, Groundwater Gradient Map) <br /> Samples collected were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), and <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) utilizing EPA method 5030/802018015 <br /> Dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in monitoring well MWi in the following <br /> concentrations 3,200 µg/1 TPHG, 0 81 µg/f toluene, 76 µgli ethylbenzene, and 12 µg/P <br /> xylenes In monitoring well MW4 1000 µglf TPHG, 0 84 µg/1' benzene, 1 1 µglf toluene and <br /> 3 0 µg1 f xylenes were detected No petroleum hydrocarbon constituents were present above <br /> method detection limits in monitoring wells MW2, MW3 or MW5 Analytical data is presented <br /> in Table 2 The laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody documentation are included in <br /> Attachment 2 Laboratory analyses were conducted by RESNA Environmental Laboratories , <br /> Cal EPA, ELAP Certification No 1211 <br /> QR101592 FNL <br />
