Box 2009
Stockton, CA 9. 201
Re: Second Quarterly Monitoring Report for J.B.
Terminal 6700 Grantline Road, Tracy, CA
De,tr Steve:
On April 19, 1991, groundwater monitoring was conducted at the
above referenced site on wells MWI, MW2, and MW3 ( Figure 1 ) .
During monitoring, the depths to water were measured, , the wells
were purged and samples were collected.
Depth to water had dropped approximately . 8 to 1 foo` in all wells
since our January 1991 monitoring (Table 1 ) . The gradient was
calculated, using a Computer Kriging program, to be in a northeast
direction at 0.01 ft/ft, which is consistent with previous
gradients (Figure 2) .
Samples collected were analyzed for benzene toluene, ethylbenzene,
and xylenes (HTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline
(TPHG) . BTEX and TPHG were not detected in MW2 and M;#3 but were
detected in MW1. Analytical data is presented in Table 2. The
laboratory data sheet and chain-of-custody form are attached.
Due to the non-detect levels for benzene and toluene and the below
action detection levels for ethylbenzene and xylene, WaterWork
recommends quarterly groundwater monitoring for this site.
J87LR509 wrp
1'10 \1 \I'S NTRI I C o 5( \I()\ ( \ ')S120 • (20900N ON x';07
'S(L \ \\ W111 \\ k \I I • 5\Vl \ ( I \R \ ( \ tM',1 • (40\) 496 i'#9
