. 1 0 INTRODL.-. '10N/HISTORY
This report is being submitted in response to a request by
the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental
Health Division to address residual soil and potential
groundwater contamination at this site. J . B Terminal
Company/Blancoe Trucking Company operates a trucking
facility located at 6700 Grantline Road, Tracy, California
(Figure 1 ) .
In September, 1987, two 550 gallon underground fuel storage
tanks were removed from the facility. The tanks were used to
store leaded and unleaded gasoline. Figure 2 depicts the
tank locations relative to other facility features.
Field and laboratory data indicated the presence of low
concentrations of toluene, xylenes, and total petroleum
hydrocarbons as gasoline in soils and groundwater within the
tank excavation. Ethylene dibromide, organic lead, and
benzene were not detected in any samples above method
detection limits. Based ..n the constituents and the levels
detected, the excavation was backfilled. Laboratory
results for samples are summarized in Tables 1 and 2
Laboratory data sheets are included in Appendix I.
2.0 TECHNICAL DATA
2.1 Name and address of site, tank owner, and contact person:
Site and Tank Owner: Blincoe Trucking Company/
J.B.
