The first sampling shall be done six (6) months after <br /> the OWTS installation. Sampling results shall be submitted to EHD for review. The EHD may <br /> reduce the sampling frequency after one year of sampling. <br /> 2. The data indicates the onsite water well has elevated level of nitrate and may not be a suitable source <br /> for the potable water supply for new development.A potable water supply that can provide a consistent <br /> source of safe and clean water adequate for human consumption, cooking, and sanitary purposes for <br /> the proposed new home needs to be established prior to the issuance of building permits (2016 CA <br /> Plumbing Code, Section 601.2). <br /> 3. The provision of a reliable potable water source and documentation that the parcel can accommodate <br /> the OWTS and 100% replacement area for this development project within the required setbacks from <br /> any water well must be submitted prior to the issuance of a building permit.
