Ham Lane (SS #9-4183) SITE CODE: 1333
Lodi, Ca.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division
(PHS/EHD) has reviewed analytical results for samples collected at the above
referenced site. The samples collected were associated with the removal/permanent
closure of four UST (underground storage tanks) and their system piping.
Due to high soil contaminant concentrations in the area of the waste oil tank,
removal/overexcavation of additional soil was performed. Confirmation sampling in
the final excavation indicates no further soil remediation is warranted.
With the provisions that the information provided to this agency is accurate and
representative of existing conditions, PHSIEHD has determined that no additional soil
remediation is warranted and backfilling of the areas remediated can be completed.
Site closure can not be granted at this time due to concentrations of TCE
(tetrachloroethene) and MTBE (Methyl t-Butyl Ether) evidenced in groundwater
samples collected from on site monitoring wells. Quarterly groundwater
monitoring/sampling is required to further evaluate residual concentrations.
If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please contact Harlin Knoll at
(209) 468-3442.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
40
Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS Margaret Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Lead Senior
CC' Kenneth Paige, Sr., 236 N.
