Work Plan, BP Facility No 11 191 <br /> November 10, 1994 <br /> Drill Cuttings and Waste Water Drill cuttings will be placed on and <br /> covered with plastic sheeting and stored at the site pending <br /> disposal GSI will collect stockpile samples and submit for <br /> compositing and disposal analysis as described in Task 3 Waste <br /> water from the decontamination procedures will be stored in drums <br /> at the site pending disposal Following receipt of stockpile <br /> laboratory results BP will be notified to implement proper disposal <br /> of the soil cuttings and water <br /> TASK 3 Chemical Analyses Soil samples from the exploratory soil borings <br /> that are selected for analysis will be submitted to the Pace Inc. <br /> laboratory (California Department of Health Service ELAP #1282) <br /> located in Novato, California Samples will be analyzed for Total <br /> Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-Gasoline) by <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8015 (modified), <br /> and for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA <br /> Method 8020 The stockpile sample will be analyzed for TPH- <br /> Gasoline, BTEX, and for total lead by either EPA Method 6010 <br /> (ICAP) or 7420 (AA) <br /> TASK 4 Report Preparation_ Upon receipt of all the data, GSI will prepare a <br /> report which describes the drilling activities and presents our <br /> assessment of the extent of residual petroleum hydrocarbon in the <br /> vicinity of borings B-4 and B-5 The report will include copies of the <br /> exploratory soil boring logs, analytical laboratory reports, and <br /> sample chain-of-custody documentation The report will be <br /> submitted to BP for their use and distribution <br /> A copy of this workplan should be forwarded to <br /> Mr Michael Collins <br /> SJEHD <br /> P 0 Box 2009, <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Report No 4300 701 1 4 <br /> GeoStrategies Inc. <br />
