il <br /> *CAM B R I A <br /> INVESTIGATION WORK PLAN <br /> BP Site No 11191 <br /> 1469 East Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Cambria Project No 852-1709-1 <br /> September 13, 2001 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) is pleased to submit this Investigation Work <br /> Plan (Work Plan) for the above-referenced BP Oil Company (BP) site The scope of work <br /> described herein was prepared in response to a June 18, 2001 San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services (SJCPHS) letter The site background, recommended activities, and schedule are <br /> presented below <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description The site is an active 76-branded gasoline retail outlet located at the northwest <br /> corner of the intersection of Hammer Lane and West Lane in Stockton, California (see Figure 1) <br /> BP acquired the site as a gasoline retail outlet from Mobil Oil Corporation in 1991 In 1994, BP <br /> transferred the gasoline retail outlet to TOSCO Marketing Company (TOSCO) and has not <br /> operated the facility since that time <br /> The site is located in a mixed commercial and residential area A restaurant and parking lot are <br /> located north and northwest of the site A strip mall is located across West Lane to the east, a bank <br /> and restaurant are located across Hammer Lane to the south, and an auto parts store is located to <br /> the west of the site <br /> 1 <br />
