C A M B R I A <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL INVESTIGATION WORK PLAN <br /> BP Site No 11191 <br /> 1469 East Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Cambria Project No 852-1709 <br /> June 21, 2002 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) has prepared this Supplemental Investigation <br /> Work Plan (Work Plan) for the above-referenced BP Oil Company (BP) site In our <br /> March 29, 2002 Site Investigation Report, we recommended quarterly groundwater monitoring of <br /> the site wells, preparation of a Supplemental Investigation Work Plan following review of the <br /> second quarter 2002 monitoring results, and batch groundwater extraction This Work Plan <br /> describes our recommended scope of work to further define the extent of hydrocarbons and methyl <br /> tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) beneath the site The site background, recommended activities, and <br /> schedule are presented below <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description• The site is an active 76-branded gasoline retail outlet located at the northwest <br /> corner of the intersection of Hammer Lane and West Lane in Stockton, California (see Figure 1) <br /> BP acquired the site as a gasoline retail outlet from Mobil Oil Corporation in 1989 In 1994, BP <br /> transferred the gasoline retail outlet to TOSCO Marketing Company (TOSCO) and has not <br /> operated the facility since that time <br /> The site is located in a commercial area An empty lot and Golf Land Arcade Park are located at <br /> the northeast and southeast corners of the Hammer Lane and West Lane intersection, respectively <br /> (see Figure 2) A Union Safe Deposit Bank is located on the southwest corner of the intersection <br /> i <br />
