Y ` <br /> iCAMBRIA <br /> SITE INVESTIGATION REPORT <br /> BP Oil Site No 11191 <br /> 1469 East Hammer Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Cambria Project No 852-1709 <br /> March 29, 2002 <br /> i <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) has prepared this Site Investigation Report <br /> for the above-referenced BP Oil Company (BP) site The investigation activities were proposed in <br /> our September 13, 2001 Investigation Work Plan (Work Plan) The Work Plan was approved in a <br /> November 7, 2001 San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) letter The following <br /> presents summaries of the site background, investigation activities, analytical results, and our <br /> conclusions and recommendations This report also summarizes the first quarter 2002 monitoring <br /> activities <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description <br /> The site is an active 76-branded gasoline retail outlet located at the northwest corner of the <br /> intersection of Hammer Lane and West Lane in Stockton, California (see Figure 1) BP acquired <br /> the site as a gasoline retail outlet from Mobil Oil Corporation in 1991 In 1994, BP transferred the <br /> gasoline retail outlet to TOSCO Marketing Company (TOSCO) and has not operated the facility <br /> since that time <br /> The site is located in a mixed commercial and residential area A restaurant and parking lot are <br /> located north and northwest of the site A strip mall is located across West Lane to the cast, a bank <br /> and restaurant are located across Hammer Lane to the south, and a vacant commercial building is <br /> located to the west of the site <br /> • <br /> 1 <br />
